F2H Banshee Article #1
Again while digging in the archives, I found this great article by Dick Powers that was originally published in the McAir Phantom Flyer modeling club magazine. With the F2H production summary and many captioned photos.

Northrop P-61A Black Widow Photos
Many years ago, I received these three photos from Northrop after a P-61 inquiry. These are P-61A’s in the original Olive drab paint scheme.
The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum has this to say: “The first of eighty operational P-61 Black Widows with a powered top turret rolled off the production line in October of 1943 followed by 120 improved P-61As, only the first 37 of which had the top turret and a three-man crew. The first A-models entered operational service in May, 1944.”

More Yakovlev Yak-23 (S-101) in Czech Markings
A couple of extra photos sent to me about the Czech S-101. The Yak-23, known as Flora, was a development of the earlier Yak-15 and Yak-17 fighters. The Yak-23 used a Soviet copy of the British Rolls-Royce Derwent V turbojet engine. I have also included a number of 3-views that I have collected.
